Presentation
The inspiration for 'GEA - in the World of Wonders' is rooted in two distinct but fascinating worlds: on the one hand the vitality of the Earth Goddess (from the ancient Greek: Γαiα , Ghḕ), and on the other the enchanted and timeless atmosphere of 'Alice in Wonderland'.
Here, the common areas of this hotel are transformed into a sustainable co-working environment, where the perfection of the golden section and natural balance guide every aspect of the design.
GEA's interiors are moulded in a cosy, harmonious atmosphere that encourages creativity and collaboration. This harmony is reflected in an imaginary representation of an unspoilt nature free from human interference, just as in the underworld discovered by Alice. Just as in Wonderland, here too The White Rabbit finds his place: he represents the frenetic pace of human life, in contrast to the reflective calm of nature embodied by Alice.
The aim of the concept is to find the balance between these two seemingly distant worlds. Our representation of the uncontaminated environment breaks away from the use of traditional green tones, embracing instead a more organic and fluid palette, with a focus on the primary source of life: water.
